Best VR Indie games at E3

E3 stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo, one of the most popular events in the video game industry. Many famous and novice developers use E3 to publicise their latest offering. They release new products, show demos and even sell merchandise at the expo. Since 2017, even members of the public are getting general admittance to the event.

The 2018 E3 attracted close to 69,000 attendees, the biggest since their 2005 event.

  1. Budget Cuts

Budget Cuts is the new title from the famous indie producer Neat Corporation. The first demo was seen in 2016 and now the game is available on Vive and Rift platforms. If you like robots, throwing knives and generally sneaking up on people, you will love this game.

  1. Generation Zero

Generation Zero comes from the house of Avalanche Studios, a Swedish developer. It is unlike other games on this list. It is an open world gameplay. You get to take down big robots in a co-operative way and walk through the post-apocalyptic landscape. The story revolves around the characters and the setting and that is what makes this self-published game so interesting.

  1. Overcooked 2

 Overcooked was one of the biggest indie games of 2016 and this year, the Ghost Team is bringing the sequel. For those of you who don’t know, it is a cooking simulation party and the new version has new kitchen chefs and brings in a multiplayer facility so you can cook with friends. The game is being launched on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.

  1. Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot

 Indie or not, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot is a great game to play in VR. You are the cyberpilot in the cockpit of Panzerhund, a fire-breathing armoured tank and your task is to wreak havoc on the streets of Paris and kick a lot of Nazi ass.  This new title from Bethesda’s is expected to hit the market in 2019. Those who played the demo in the booth were all gaga about the visuals. The biggest plus of this game is that apart from over the top action, there is a lot of thoughtful narrative representation.

 So now it is time you get one of those nice VR headsets and get started in the VR game world.
